The Soulard Community Improvement District (CID) would like to thank the Missouri Department of Conservation for supporting our efforts to improve the Neighborhood of Soulard’s urban forest through their Community Forestry Cost Share program.
In winter and spring of 2025, Soulard CID partnered with the City of St. Louis’s Forestry Division and Davey Tree to update the city’s tree inventory within the neighborhood boundaries and develop a management plan to mitigate trees that might pose a risk to Soulard’s residents and visitors. Most trees can be mitigated through corrective pruning; any trees that are removed will be replaced at a 2:1 ratio.
Thanks to MDC for helping us make Soulard’s trees healthier, safer, and more beautiful!
